On The Wendy Williams Show
Three quarter Dutch beauty, Rebecca Romijn and her husband, Jerry O’Connell were on the Wendy Williams Show today. The actress, model and John Stamos’ former wife and her new husband of four years looked good together. I never would have guessed her husband, Jerry is as playful as he showed he is on the show by massaging and playfully putting both Wendy and Rebecca’s feet in his mouth.
He and Rebecca have known each other for eight years after meeting at various events and then officially meeting at a Maxim Hot 100 party. He said she was in the VIP section since she was one of the "Hot 100" and he was in the civilian section of the party, and when he saw her near the pool and knowing she was newly single, he took his shirt off and stood in her line of sight, so she could see him.
The over six foot tall Jerry likes tall women, since his mother is over 6ft, while his father is 5’5. He recently bought Rebecca a pair of beautiful earrings for Valentines Day, and he said he had to get a part time job at a coffee shop to pay for it after putting it on lay away. I guess he's about to become a commedian too.
Referring to his role in the movie that Jerry was in, she said, “I loved Stand by Me when I was a kid, but I never pictured myself marrying Vern.” While he said, “I was Mystique’s fan,” referring to her role in the X-Men movies. After viewing her picture as Mystique, which showed her perky boobs, Wendy asked her if they still look like that, and she responded referring to her twin daughters, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, “I nursed my babies, so they are not as perky as before. Girlfriend, I feel you. It’s sad but true. That’s the price you pay for being a good mother and breast feeding your babies, and it's nothing a good push-up bra won't fix.
She also shared that she named her daughter Dolly after Dolly Parton because when she was seven months pregnant, she went to Dollywood where Dolly performed, got to meet her and when Dolly asked her about her pregnancy she said she was expecting twins and without asking her husband, said she was going to name her daughter after her, and Dolly said, “I would be so honored, please do that,” and when she performed, she dedicated her performance of Little Sparrow to her and her unborn daughters. When she returned home, a week later she received a letter from Dolly saying she forgot to tell her that her middle name is Rebecca and she would be honored if she named her daughter Dolly Rebecca, after the both of them, which she did. Her other daughter Charlie is named for Jerry’s good looking brother who is also an actor.
Rebecca shared that their daughters love riding the NYC train. She said one burst into tears when they got off at their stop and said, “I want to live on the train,” when they tried explaining to her that you have to get off at your stop and can’t live on the train.
The couple has temporarily located to New York since Jerry is currently appearing in the play, Seminar which stars Alan Rickman from the Harry Potter movies on Broadway. The couple who are spokespersons for Nivea’s Million Moments of Touch, which is designed to counter the overuse of cell phones and encourage more human interaction among people shared about how she had to train Jerry on phone etiquette by running water over his blackberry when they were on vacation and he was doing too much on it instead of spending time with her and the kids. I guess Ms. Romijn is a tad bit fiesty...
She also shared about the general lack of human interaction in the society. She said, “No one is touching. Everyone is talking on the phone or texting. People are touching people less and it’s having a negative impact on people.” When asked about having date nights together, she said, “You have to ditch the kids.”
Ultimately, they came across a happy and fun couple who are comfortable with each other. I wish them a happy married life, especially because this is the second time for her and she seems like a lovely person. It was said her marriage to John Stamos ended because he wanted to start a family when her career was still hot and she obviously couldn't take time off to have a baby.
In an article, he said anytime the urge to have a baby appeared, he would buy another horse, so he ended up having several horses. I remember my cousin saying he is selfish for trying to mess up her figure by wanting her to get pregnant, since he was such a fan of her model body. The funny thing, is that he still doesn't have any kids, while she now has two. That's the irony. I believe they are both good people, but the timing was just wrong. Such is life...
Nivea believes in the power of the human touch, which is why they started the Million Moments of Touch campaign, so reach out and touch someone today…
