Relationships Are Important To Enjoying Life!

As much as we human beings scramble for financial sustenance and/or wealth, when you are on your death bed, you don’t think about money or ask about your bank balance. You are only concerned with the people you love like your family and friends. My grandfather who was very wealthy on his death bed, while surrounded by his children asked about his other family member and friends and he was told that many of them had already passed on to the great beyond. He didn't care about his vast wealth including money or property.

Contrary to what people say that there’s reincarnation, the bible states in Hebrews 9:27-28 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” From this passage of scripture we know that we human beings only live once. Only Jesus is coming back. Therefore you must make time to enjoy what you have with your friends and family and don't only be focused on acquiring more.

Hindrances to Enjoying Life:

Not believing in God’s design for your life.

Being a perfectionist

Not going with life’s flow

Not enjoying the power of simplicity

Expecting someone else will make you happy

Being selfish and self centered

Believing others will help you

God abundantly supplies all of our needs. Psalm 35:27 states, "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Make the most of your time. Don’t say you don’t have time, but don’t waste the time you do have. It’s a mindset. Stop putting the emphasis on what you don’t have. Focus on what you do have. Don’t be bitter about what you do that you don’t want to do. Be happy doing what you do till God promotes you to the next level. God is with us everywhere. Know it is God’s will to enjoy life. Don’t say I will enjoy my life when. Jesus died that I might enjoy myself. The question to ask yourself is why are you not enjoying your life and what needs to change? Know what to get rid of and when to get rid of things. Enjoy your life now and today.

If you are too works oriented that’s good for you, but know that God is pleased with your faith. You can’t enjoy your life till you trust God. If you are Christian, know that all things work together for your good. John 16:24 states, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”

Ask God for what will bring you joy in faith. Believe you have received and await its manifestation. Take responsibility for your joy. If you don’t, you give the devil the upper hand in your life. If you are doing things to stress yourself like being in debt up to your eyeballs or working till you are tired, irritable and anti-depressant dependent, know that it’s your fault that you are in that situation and you can make changes to rectify the situation.

You don’t have to let anyone else control your joy. Life is a gift many people don’t have anymore. Start to learn to enjoy your life and live life to the fullest today!
