Worth More than Weight
Worth More than Weight is an outreach program designed to raise awareness around the co-existence of obesity and certain mental health issues. Targeting women ages 18 and up, program components include educational seminars, PSAs, free brochures and journals, a toll-free referral hotline, micro-site and educational DVD. The program helps women recognize the co-existence of eating disorders and mental health issues such as depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety and body-image concerns, and seek appropriate treatment and sustainable support.
