I’ve always known that the words we speak are very powerful. I believe, especially since I believe in God creating the world and everything he created was based on what he said. Such as “Let there be light.” I have had my own experiences of saying something I shouldn't and paying for it.
For example, I was in an environment interacting with a certain group of people who aren’t known for their civility and I was verbally attacked for no reason. Later, I was talking to my sister on the phone, I told her what had happened and stated that I shouldn't have been in that environment anyway, because the civilized circles I move in don't have such occurrences.
Lo and behold, the next time I arrived in my own "civilized circle" I was verbally attacked. To say I was shocked is an understatement but I recalled what I had said to my sister on the phone and I knew that's what I had paid for. My mom always says there are angels listening and acting upon the words we utter.
Also, though I have not read the book, Angels on Assignment, but I hear it is based on the same thing. So when I received an email stating the contents below, I knew I had to share with my readers so we can all become more cautious of our utterances.
Though some may call this coincidence and others may not, but below is a list of people who misspoke and suffered the consequences.
John Lennon, Singer
Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said:
"Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him" (1966). Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

A group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend. Her mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car, "My daughter, go With God and May He Protect You." She responded, "Only if he (God) travels in the trunk, cause inside here, it's already full”
Hours later, news came back that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken

She said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written. In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.
As stated above, the information above was emailed to me. However, it is a good opportunity to personally reflect on this one out of the many mysteries of life and do better going forward. A word is enough for the wise.....
