Christmas is the time of year that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, God's son who was born and died to redeem Christians from sins. There is no greater lesson in giving that this gesture of God giving his only son.
This is the perfect time to give to people in need around you. Giving doesn't mean material things. As a matter of fact, the season is too commercialized.
You can give your time, wisdom, information and skills to help those around you.
It is really more blessed to give than to receive.
That's the real celebration of Christmas.
