Scenario: A Teacher On Her Troubled Student
My student has OCD, ADD, ODD and ADHD. He has everything and then some. He's a walking mess he’s obnoxious, aggressive, and bothers and irritates people including other students and staff. To make matters worse, his mother is so irresponsible. The unfortunate part of this is that the medication she forgets to give him are the anti-oppositional defiant drugs that should calm him down and make him listen to us but he doesn’t take them regularly.
So no matter what you tell him to do, he just looks at you like you’re crazy. I don’t even get into it with him because he's not worth my job and you know as the teacher of these behavioral issue kids everything is your fault......
Sociable Susan's Perspective: If this is the case I would think his mother be reported to some child welfare agency for neglecting to give him the medication he needs to function properly in school.
