The theme for the festival is “Serving & Touring Africa,” promoting tourism and community service in Africa. You are invited to explore the possibility of making your next vacation destination any African country of your choice. Don't be mis-informed about Africa based on the myopic and negative news you hear in the media. Africa like everywhere else has its good and bad. It is the world's second-largest and second most-populous continent, with 54 sovereign states, including Madagascar and various island groups inhabited by 1.0 billion people (as of 2009) in 61 territories, that account for about 14.72% of the world's human population. If you visit Africa, you will have a positive perspective and definitely make many friends.
