We all know texting while driving is distracting and could you get you killed, so you are asking for and deserve a ticket if you are caught, but texting while walking is now illegal and could cost you a $120 ticket in Philadelphia.
I guess that’s because you could walk into someone or something while walking and texting and cause harm to others, but is this ticket necessary or is it just another way for the city to be fiscally sound by drumming up all kinds of tickets residents can be issued and have to pay?
