Ellicott City artists and art lovers came out to enjoy Paint It! Ellicott City, a juried en plein air paint-out exhibit where people walked the streets of Ellicott City’s historic district to watch and talk with local artists who set up easels alongside other artists painting the city’s scenic vistas, historic sites and bohemian charm. Their work was displayed in a temporary exhibit and reception yesterday, July 11th from 6-8P M at Howard County Center for the Arts. The juror who selected the winning painting was Terry Shovlin, Plein Air Artist and Painting Teacher at the Carver Center for Arts and Technology from the exhibit featuring the works of the following artists:
