Shanola Hampton Star of Shameless On The Wendy Williams Show!



Petite and pretty powerhouse and star of the Showtime show, Shameless, who has been acting since 2001was on the Wendy Williams Show today sporting black size 6 Jimmy Choo shoes with silver chains she bought specifically for Wendy’s Shoe Cam three years ago, when the show was picked up by Showtime saying, “These are my Wendy Williams shoes.”

The Summerville SC native who still has an 83 year old grandma and a very supportive family said her family keeps her grounded and said, “Being a star is all relative right?” Talking about her family, she also said, “They’re very proud of me.” The great teeth having star also shared that she sucked her thumb till she was 22 years old when her “most secure guy” husband who she met when they both actors and undergraduates at Winthrop University Rock Hill, SC when she was getting her degree in Theater, with emphasis in Performance who she married at 23 years old and has been married to for 12 years told her she had to stop.

The show is about an alcoholic man lives in a perpetual stupor, while his six children with whom he lives cope as best they can. The completely dysfunction family is run by the oldest a daughter because the mother left. Shanola plays Veronica Fisher, the is the sassy and fun neighbor who tells it like it is about everything and everybody and is madly in love with her husband. The show also shows that she’s very comfortable with her body, because she often not wearing much, which for her is okay because she has a great body courtesy of her always being in the gym because she isn’t the healthiest eater. She also said she got breasts implants and they’re hers because she paid for them. Tell it girl...

The Master’s degree in Fine Arts from University of Illinois having sister who is an education advocate said she comes from a family of educators which is led by her dad who is a pastor. She also recently conquered the fear of flying in a helicopter while on vacation with a husband; she had previously conquered another fear of jumping off a cliff, while her husband conquered the fear of parasailing.

When asked who her friends in the industry are, she didn’t name any names but told Wendy, “You’ve been a friend in my head for like ever.” She’s having the best time in Hollywood right now and if things slow down she has her education and family to fall back on. Talk about a smart sister with her head on straight.
