Today’s Wendy Williams Show Co-host, Mark McGrath wants to be the next Ex-Factor host. Trying to put in a good word for himself, he said, “I’m just saying, there are only so many county fairs Sugar Ray (the music group he’s part of) can play.
Don’t mind the funny man. Sugar Ray’s level is higher than playing county fairs, however, the music business is not what it used to be, so many recording artists have to find other streams of income for themselves to be able to take care of their families.
I think Simon Cowell should give him a chance because he came across very well on today’s show. He had a lot of nice jokes, didn’t mind making fun of himself and came across as very amiable. Aside from that, according to Wendy, here are some other reasons for him to host the X Factor. He has good teeth. He’s good looking and very easy on the eyes. He has a full head of hair and brings all the cuckoo crazy needed to keep the audience stimulated and interested. And last but not least, he has two cute kids and a fiance to feed, so he is a family man who will do an excellent job because he has responsibilities. There’s your X-Factor host.
Still not convinced? His resume reads these credits. He has hosting experience from VH1 and MTV programs, Extra, Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll and Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious and Don't Forget the Lyrics. He was also a guest judge for American Idol.
However, I don’t know if his band mates will like the idea, because it would cut into the time he can be available to them, and they may have to request one less pair of "socks and underwear" (inside joke)when they are touring, but this is real life folks and it's, "Every man for himself. God for us all," so if one is considering him alone, he would make a good host, so Simon, give the brother a chance and consider him for the position…
