Games R Us!

With the holiday season upon us, most people will be thinking of gifts to buy co-workers and loved ones and having friends over, and I like you to know that there are great gifts you can buy that will bring positive and engaging interaction and hearty laughter to those around you. In other words, I'm letting you know that there's something better to do other than stuffing ourselves with food, being bored, maintaining an awkward silence, playing isolating video games or watching TV.

Instead of all that, why not pick up a game to play which will include all your guests. Believe me, they'll have a much more memorable time if they play games when they are over at your house or receive it as a gift from you. Below are some wonderful games you should really consider getting as gifts for yourself or your loved ones.

Wits & Wagers

Being Close is Good Enough...

Not a trivia buff? It doesn’t matter!  Wits & Wagers lets you bet on the answers of your friends!

Each player writes a guess to a question such as “In what year did the bikini swimsuit makes its first appearance?” or “How many feet wide is an NFL football field?” and places it face-up on the betting mat. Feeling confident? Bet on your guess. Think someone else knows better? Bet on their guess. Strike it big and you’ll be cheering like you just hit the jackpot!

Wits & Wagers is a trivia contest, but with a gaming table twist. Players seek to answer numerically based questions and use casino-style chips to place bets on their responses and those of other players. Whoever has the most chips at the end wins.

It's a great game that has won more awards than any other party game in history!

When to Play
Wits & Wagers is most fun with 7 teams at a large party or family gathering. Each of the 7 teams should have one to three players.

Say Anything

Say Anything is a light-hearted game about what you and your friends think. It will get everyone talking and laughing within minutes.

What do your friends REALLY think?

The game involves guessing how other players will respond to subjective questions, such as "What's the most overrated band of all time?" Enjoy it with 3 - 8 family members (players must be able to write) or as a hilarious party game with adults. So dig deep into your heart or just come up with something witty -- this is your chance to Say Anything!

Cluzzle

Since When Was It Good to Do Something Poorly?

Since the award-winning game of Cluzzle turned sculpting on its head! Don’t be too good an artist - the trickier your sculpture, the more points you’ll get. So grab your friends and family. Your ridiculously poor sculptures will inspire laughter that will be remembered for years to come!

How To Play Cluzzle?

  1. Everyone creates an ambiguous sculpture called a Cluzzle (a clay puzzle).
  2. Players ask yes/no questions to figure out the other Cluzzles.
  3. Players get more points the longer it takes for their Cluzzle to be guessed, but only score if it is guessed before the end of the game.

Watch A Video Clip

The best way to learn about Cluzzle is to watch a video of people playing it! You'll see why our games are so much fun at the same time as you learn how to play them.

Fun & Educational!
Besides being tons of fun, Cluzzle has also been recognized by parents, teachers, and magazines for helping develop the following skills:
  • Deductive reasoning / logic skills
  • Creative thinking skills
  • Manual dexterity skills
  • Communication skills

These games are sold everywhere, including Target, Toys-r-Us, and Barnes & Noble, but for more information, visit North Star Games at www.northstargames.com
