The 2010 Miss World competition was recently held on October 30th 2010 in Sanya, China. Out of the one hundred and twenty participants, the American contestant, Alexandria Mills took home the crown. Congratulations to all the contestants who did their countries proud !!!
However, I would like to congratulate, the first runner up, Miss Emma Wareus of Botswana and all the queens from Africa. Whether you are light or dark skinned, curly or coarse haired, sporting an afro or a weave, each and every one of you has done Africa proud.
Your black is beautiful and you are dark and lovely. Always remember the words of Nigerian Recording Artist, which says, "You are my African Queen, girl of my dreams. You take me where I’ve never been, you make my heart go tingalingaling." Below are pictures from the event.
