Back To The Future is 25 years old!

Can you believe the movie, Back To The Future is 25 years old already? Time does fly by, doesn’t it? This got me thinking, if I had the chance to revisit my past, when and where would I want to go back to?

However, after much thought, I don’t think I would want to go back and relive my past. What do you think? Would you want to go back and relive a part of your past? Or do you believe in our lives being pre-written even before our existence?

Anyway, knowing that we can’t turn back time, it’s always better to be happy where we are because in reality we can’t relive even yesterday let alone an earlier time. All our past mistakes and miss-adventures have made us the unique individuals we are.

However, I do believe in destiny. The cast of the movie including Michael J Fox spoke were on TV earlier today and made me even believe more. He talked about his role in the movie, and I was surprised when he said that when he was approached about playing the role of Marty Mcfly he couldn’t accept it because he was already acting in Family Ties at the time, and couldn’t get time off to do the movie.

Another actor was cast to play the role of Marty Mcfly, and the movie began filming. 5 weeks into the filming, the film crew found that things weren’t working out with the actor and he was sent packing.

Michael Fox was approached again, but this time the film crew was willing to film at night and on the days he could get time off from Family Ties. They even had to rush the production because they had only a short amount of time before the film’s release date. However, they got it done and the rest is now history.

Talk about a divine appointment. After hearing that and many other things I’ve seen in life, I do believe that what is divinely yours will come to you, even if it doesn’t seem that way initially.

Have a great week!
