It’s official! Dr. Conrad Murray goes down for involuntary manslaughter, which means he unknowingly and unintentionally killed Michael Jackson. We all knew the judicial system including the judge, jury, and the press etc were just earning their keep and going through the motions. It’s always been clear that someone would have to take the fall for Michael Jackson’s death due to the circumstances that led to it.
Although Michael’s sister LaToya and even his body guards say Michael’s death was a conspiracy of people more powerful than Dr. Murray and Michael wouldn’t want him on trial, the reality is, whether he was a misguided loner, or a puppet working for a dreaded consortium of people who wanted Michael dead, which could be for a plethora of reasons, ultimately, he is the one that was caught doing something that was medically inappropriate that even goes against the Hippocratic oath he took as a doctor and he will pay the price for Michael’s death, so the case can be closed and LAPD and the judicial system will be seen as having done their jobs. This is also, so that in everyone’s minds we will all believe that justice has been served.
Unfortunately, they say he is currently on 24/7 medical ward / suicide watch/isolation (for his own safety) in a LA county jail. I hope he isn’t planning on doing anything to himself, as the maximum four year sentence, which he won’t even spend due to California’s prison overcrowding isn’t the end of the world.
It’s just enough time for him to search his soul and reflect on how he won’t make such bad choices in the future all because of temporary financial gratification, which as we see, can take away long term financial rewards from him. There’ll definitely be other law suits including a civil one, promised by Joe Jackson, Michael’s father and an appeal promised by Dr. Murray’s attorneys, but where there's life, there's hope and hopefully Dr. Murray will learn his lesson that money isn't everything and move past this hurdle in his life.
However, Michael Jackson's death is a lesson for other rich people who dictate to their doctors what to do. Country Club medicine practised by Dr. Feel Goods are unsafe and can lead to your untimely death. Doctors, remember your Hippocratic oath and walk away from patients who want to teach you your job.
